| Management
Today endeavors to promote and disseminate knowledge in the complex
multidisciplinary management field. The Journal encourages theoretical
and empirical research papers and articles of relevance to both academicians
and practitioners. In addition the journal invites manuscripts covering
application theory to real life management activities, where the findings
would be of interest to researchers, executives, academicians and management
students.
The journal publishes articles from the areas such as finance, accounting, marketing and operations management, human resource management, statistics, international business, information technology, environment risk management, globalization and related areas. Articles reflecting diversity, cross-functional nature of management and emerging concerns are also considered publication. |
| Author Guidelines (brief account of your guideline) |
| The manuscript should normally be typed including figures and tables, typed in double-space or printed in 12 point font on 8.5" X11" (A-4) size papers with 1.5 inch margin on all four sides. Two copies of the manuscript should be submitted. The cover page should contain title of the paper, author's name, designation and official address, contact address, phone/fax number and e-mail address. Also, a non-mathematical abstract of about 150 words should be submitted alongwith the manuscript. References should be placed at the end of the manuscript. The list should mention only those sources cited in the test of the manuscript. A soft copy in form of CD-R is also requested, the document could be in MS Word/PageMaker 6.5 or in Text Form. |

| The research
paper authored by Ms. Ruchi Srivastava and Dr. D.S. Chaubey on 'Role
of Management education in Personality Modifications of students: An
experience with students studying in various management institutes of
Lucknow City', assesses the general perception of management students
towards management education and the impact of management education
on personality of students doing management courses. Celebrities
are the dream for Indian consumers and celebrity endorsed goods are
widely accepted by consumers these days. They give authenticity and
credibility to the goods and this enhances the purchasing capacity of
our consumers. The research paper authored by Dr. Anil Kr. Sinha, Mr.
Afaque Mahmood and Mr. Gaurav Bisaria focuses on 'The impact of celebrities
on purchase decisions of the consumers'. Ms. Deepti
Sinha & Mr. Sachin Sinha in their research paper on 'Talent Retention
In Academics: A case study on Management Institutes of Lucknow' discusses
about the scarce resource i.e. Talent, which needs to be optimally managed
among all the available resources in an organization as Human Resource
being the most crucial one. This paper basically understands and analyses
the causes of high attrition rate of employees in the management institutes
of UPTU. Caring for
others is the basic concern behind insurance. The paper authored by
Ms. Varsha entitled 'Satisfaction of customers with the services of
Life Insurance industry in India talks about the satisfaction with the
services provided by insurance companies and also he reasons for attraction
of customers towards LIC. "Artificial
intelligence as a tool for decision in divesture – A proposed model"
by Mr Satyendra Kr. Singh and Ms Sanchita Ghatak proposes a model based
on support system for decision making under critical situations as in
corporate restructuring. It is basically a research work which utilizes
the concept of both Financial Management & Information Tehcnology. Dr. Reshma
Nasreen in her article on 'An Interface of Customer Relationship Management
and Wealth Management' has discussed on the dynamics involved in Wealth
Management with an aim of integrating the functionalities of a CRM.
Wealth Management deals with high net worth customers who have to manage
considerable amount of wealth. The paper entitled
'Is Indian economy a factor for the growth of Retail Business in India'
authored by Ms. Surabhi Agarwal discusses the influence of Indian economy
over the changing market scenario as the GDP and the income & purchasing
power of customers, which are on the rise. It focuses on retailer and
consumer challenges and opportunities Prof. L.S. Yadav in his research paper tilted ' Finance, Marketing & utilization related problems of tractor on customers' emphasize on the change of attitude of customers towards employment because of their familiarity with technology. |

| Prof. Sanjay Pratap Singh, Editor, is M.Sc (Geo), (UGC NET), MBA (Marketing) (UGC NET). His career, spans over 19 years in which he has been associated with several renowned educational institutions like Literacy House and Lucknow University and Lecturer and Reader before joining Sherwood College of Management in 2001. He has conducted training programmes for University Lecturers, Readers and Professors for over 5 years. He has also been a visiting faculty in Lucknow University, IMDUP, Sugar Federation, U.P. Police, UNICEF, SUDA, NIPCED and other institutions of repute from the last 10 years. Besides, he has been associated with various management development programmes (MDPs) researchers and counseling sessions. He is also member of AIMA, Board of Studies, U.P. Technical University, Examination Committee etc. |
