Best B-School Directories 2003 - 2010

2010	The fog surrounding the B-school is lifting with signs of placement performance showing encouraging trends. The school numbers is also swelling and so is the tendency to spend on quality building processes like faculty development programmes, case study development, funding for international visits of faculty to present conference papers etc., We would expect this process to continue and grow as the country aligns itself to the international norms of building quality. Our list is now over 1800 schools which is the largest directory listing ever by any website or agency. The listing is from a variety of sources including that of AICTE and independent advertisements from the schools. The directory contains high quality editorial that showcases the state of the art of B-schools.
2009	Our annual directory listing is now five years young and in the interim the list of schools has risen from around 1200 to 1600 plus and it would be 2000 in the next two years. Despite the signs of gloom all around the placements taken a nosedive, the schools are continuing to grow in numbers and capacity showing an underlying optimism and resilience of Indian B-schools. Our directory besides listing the schools also profiles some of these which participated in our survey of B-schools. The directory also contains in depth articles and columns that highlight the state of the art of business education in India. We believe that the directory series has emerged as a strong information source for the stakeholders.
2008	Accreditation and global benchmarking has been the overriding theme of this directory as the India b-schools brand can be built only based on benchmarking with the best in the world. The process for this has to begun in right earnest. The articles and features focus primarily on this aspect. This year's directory also continues with the annual effort of collecting and updatinig the largest database that is being maintained in public about the Indian b-schools. As a result the 2008 directory has turned out to be the best ever collection of b-school information in the country with over1500 schools being listed and another 180 schools for which detailed one page colourful profiles have been provided. The colourful book being sold at a nominal price of Rs 100 is the best possible resource book today in India about information and data relating to b-schools
2007	The Business Schools Directory 2007 has by far the largest listing of B-schools published by any print publication. The details culled from various sources including archival information and continuous research by the Directory Team covers as many as 1300 schools. The authenticated data of the schools is continuously updated. The Directory also has an elaborate listing of International B-Schools numbering over 800 which is also the largest of such listing in any B-school directory in the country. The B-school profiles of the participating schools are elaborate and visually appealing. Great care had been taken to research and put together, statistics, pictures and write up to give a clear picture of the milestones reached by each participating school.
2006	Indian business schools have almost completed their metamorphosis of becoming mature global instittutions and even though the process has been painful it has also been quick. The directory 2006 has been compiled focusing attention of this maturity in view. The entire range of features is based on this aspect and the content rich directory contains a number of experts giving their views. The Directory contains updated information on around 900 business schools from around the country along with the list of top International business schools. The directory has full page listing of around 130 schools complete with their profiles and statistical details along with the latest pictures of their campuses.The directory is also rich with editorial content comprising articles touching upon crucial areas of business schools working.The directory is a must keep collection of data information and high quality knowledge about Indian business schools
2005	The Directory contains 248 pages of rich editorial matter with statistics and information about almost 900 business schools of the country. The directory also contained a large number of editorial articles and also plenty of pictures of business schools portraying their dynamic orientation from around the country.
2004	It is a collectors item rich with content and tips for making the best out of a runaway boom in B-schools education in India. The detailed profiling of each b-school painstakingly prepared based on our experience of conducting four years of India's largest survey of Best B-schools and our visits to a large number of B-schools to gain first hand experience has resulted in the extraordinary insights which we share with you in this directory.
2003	The first directory of Business Schools brought out by Business India also was the biggest and most comprehensive account of business schools in the country. This pioneering effort was well appreciated by the readership and the business schools
