There are seven IITs in India in
Mumbai, New Delhi, Kharagpur, Roorkee, Guwahati, Kanpur and Chennai.
Now, the central government has approved another Indian Institute
of Technology (IIT) for Andhra Pradesh. Indian Institute of Technology,
Kharagpur (IIT-KGP), announced detailed plans to set up its new
Kolkata campus at Rajarhat New Town at an estimated investment of
